1½ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 can crushed pineapple
1 or 2 cups pecans

Mix all ingredients well by hand. Pour in buttered pan.
Bake 35 or 40 minutes at 350°

¾ cup sugar
1 small can cream
1 stick butter

Cook until icing begins to thicken. Pour over hot cake.
