7 pounds beef, cooked
2 pounds pork, cooked
1 peck apples (10 pounds)
3 boxes golden raisins
2 boxes currants
1 1/2 pounds brown sugar
1 1/2 pounds white sugar
salt to taste
1 vial oil of cloves (3/4 t.)
1 vial oil of cinnamon (3/4 t.)
1 quart apple cider vinegar
zest of one orange grated
1 t. each of mace and allspice
1 C brandy

Grind the meats...add the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, and can in sterile jars.Janice will be glad to discuss the "how to's" of this recipe if you decide to make it.
