1 c sugar
1 c light Karo syrup
¼ tsp salt
1½ c peanut butter
4 c Special K cereal

Directions:
In a small sauce pan, combine the sugar, the Karo syrup and the salt. Boil for exactly 1½ minutes. Add the peanut butter and mix well. Pour over the Special K cereal in a large bowl and mix well. Mixture can then be spooned by tablespoon onto waxed paper ( or parchment paper) or spread onto the paper and rolled thin with a rolling pin, then cut into squares. Makes about 3 dozen.
