Directions:Marc and Melissa were high school sweethearts and married at ages 17 and 19. We had our first son, Jacob, 3 years later. After another 5 years, Will came along and made the family complete. We lived in a tiny house in Plainville for 17 years and moved to our present home in Calhoun in 1997. We spent all of our time at swim team meets, track meets, baseball, basketball and football games. Summer vacations were spent at the beach and the annual trip to Disney World. We are members of Trinity Baptist Church.Jacob graduated high school in 2000 and college in 2005. He is currently an RN in Redmond’s ICU. Jacob married his high school sweetheart, Savannah Smith on 12/2/2006. Savannah is a CRNA and works at Erlanger in Chattanooga. Will graduated from high school in 2006 and UGA in 2010. Will is employed as a Manager of Business Operations at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta. He married Ashley Martinez on 6/29/2013. Ashley is also employed at Emory Healthcare. We added our first grandchild to the family on 4/7/11, Miss Natalie Brynn.
Marc worked for Gardner Abrasives for 25 years as plant foreman until they closed and now works at Toyo Tire in the testing lab. Melissa worked for Dr. Joel Hoag for 11 years, Coosa Medical Group for 11 years and now works as Administrator at Rome Orthopaedic Center.
Our nest is now empty and that has taken quite a bit of adjusting. We miss all of the noise and laughter that Jacob and Will provided. We are truly blessed with two great sons and now two daughters that we love and cherish just as much. Jacob and Savannah now have two children, Natalie and Eli. They have brought so much joy into our lives, precious additions to our family. We hope for a few more! |
