Ingredients:  
1 c. med. crushed cracker crumbs (Or you can use a frozen 9 in. pie crust)
¼ c. butter, melted
4 med. onions, thinly sliced
¼ c. butter
2 c. grated Swiss cheese (about ½ lb.)
1 T. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 well beaten eggs
1 c. scalded milk
dash of Tabasco sauce
chives or parsley for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Combine crumbs and ¼ c. melted butter and press into a 9 in. pie pan.
Cook onion slices in ¼ c. butter over low heat.
Place in bottom of the pie pan over the crumb crust.
Combine cheese, flour, salt, Tabasco sauce, eggs and milk.
Pour over the onions in the pan.
Bake at 325º for 40 min. or until set.
Garnish with chives or parsley.
