Base. 2 cups flour
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 cup softened butter.

Cream cheese layer.
8 oz softened cream cheese
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp almond extract

Frosting.
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
2 tsp milk
1 tsp almond extract

Base.
Mix and pat into 9x13 pan. Don’t grease the pan. Sometimes I don’t use all the crumbs as it seems like too thick of a layer. Bake at 350ºF for 15-20 minutes

Cream cheese layer.
Mix well. Pour over hot crust and bake for 15-20 minutes until set. Cool completely.

Frosting.
Mix. If it’s too thick add a wee bit more milk.
Spread onto cooled bars and top with slivered almonds.
