1/2 head cabbage
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Cut cabbage into fourths, then cut away the hard core, and slice into very thin shreds.
Place the cabbage into a saucepan with a tight fitting lid and add the water.
Cook, covered, for 10 minutes, until the cabbage is tender and the water is almost absorbed.
Pour the milk over, and add the butter, salt, pepper, and celery seed.
Heat, stirring lightly, until the butter is melted.
Serve hot.
