For the Tomatoes:
1 lb red and yellow cherry tomatoes, halved
2 tsp dried oregano
3 cloves garlic, sliced thin
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 cup olive oil

16 oz rotini, prepared
1/3 cup olive oil
2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
8 oz mozzarella, cubed
8 strips bacon, crumbled
1 tsp dried basil

For the Tomatoes:
Arrange the tomatoes over a rimmed, foil lined baking pan.
Sprinkle with the oregano, garlic, and salt, then drizzle with the olive oil.
Roast, uncovered, for 20 - 25 minutes at 450º, until the tomatoes are lightly browned and shriveled.

Whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and pepper, then stir into the warm pasta.
Add the tomatoes along with any drippings from the pan, the mozzarella, bacon, and basil.
Toss to combine and serve at room temperature.
