1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cup diced peeled tart apples
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

For the Topping:
5 Tbsp cold butter
1/3 cup flour
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

For the Glaze:
1 Tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbsp milk
1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and sugar together, then blend in the eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Mix in the flour, salt, and baking powder until fully incorporated.
Fold in the apples and walnuts.
Pour into a greased bread pan.
Prepare the topping with a fork or pastry blender until it reaches the consistency of coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle evenly over the bread batter.
Bake at 350º for 55 - 60 minutes.

For the Glaze:
Combine and pour over cooled bread.
