2/3!cup cream cheese (room temperature)
1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
1/3 cup Crisco or other vegetable shortening
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup walnuts (finely chopped)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, butter, shortening, and sugar until fully combined and creamy.
3. Stir in almond and vanilla extracts and then the
flour.
4. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and arrange them on an ungreased cookie sheet.
5. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until the edges are just starting to brown.
6. As cookies bake, mix powdered sugar and walnuts in a small bowl.
7. Remove cookies from oven and let cool 1 minute before rolling them in the powdered sugar mixture.
8. Store in the fridge in an airtight container or bag.
