Preheat oven to 350º
Ingredients:

½ loaf of stale French bread cubed
4 eggs
2 c.milk
1½ tsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt
¾ c. sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
½ c. raisins
2 apples thinly sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Lay cubed French bread in 9x13 pan. In a bowl,beat eggs,milk,vanilla,salt,sugar,and cinnamon. Pour mixture over French bread and mix well. Add raisins and apples.
Bake for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean!

Topping
3 eggs
1tbsp sugar
Beat eggs until stiff. Add sugar to mixture and blend. Spread mixture on top of bread pudding.Place under broiler until tan in color.
Remove from oven- cool- serve!

Growing up,this was a family favorite dessert. My mom made this bread pudding often and at 90yrs old she's still making it for us to enjoy. She was happy to share her recipe, and hopes everyone who tries it ,enjoys it! Her name is Theresa ,but is affectionately called Maw Maw Resa, hence,I named her recipe Resa's Bread Pudding!!
