1 can water chestnuts
1/2 lb bacon
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp. soya sauce
1 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Cut bacon strips into half, wrap each slice around a water chestnut and secure with a toothpick.

Arrange in cake pan and broill for 5 minutes or until the bacon is cooked.

Drain the fat.

Mix remaining ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil, remove from the heat and pour over the chestnuts and bake for 350ºF for 20 minutes.

Is best seved warm, but can be served cold. If you have a small crockpot this will work well.
