1 Pkg. Taco Seasoning
1 lb. Ground beef
½ Onion, chopped
2 Bags Tortilla chips
1 Can Refried beans
1 Pkg. Shredded cheese (16 oz. pkg)
3 Roma Tomatoes, chopped
2 - 3 Green Onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. Butter
¾ C Water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º degrees F.

In a large skillet (on the stove), add butter, ground beef, chopped onion and cook on medium heat until beef is browned and onions are soft. This will take around 8 minutes to cook. Drain off the grease.

Again, place beef/onion back into the skillet, add the taco seasoning. Add ¾ cup of water, and let it simmer over a low heat until 90% of the water evaporates. This will take around 5 minutes.

On one baking sheet (with sides), lined with parchment paper, add a layer of tortilla chips.

One a separate baking sheet, lined with parchment paper, add a layer of ground beef and cheese.

Place both baking sheets in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven, add green onions, tomatoes and any other topping you may desire such as (sour cream, black olives, peppers)

Serve the nachos while they are hot.
