Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4-5 blackberries
4-5 mint leaves
1 tsp sugar
2 oz bourbon (personal favorite for this is Four Roses Single Barrel, to kick it up a notch you could try Old Forester 1920 Style Prohibition Whisky)
½ oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
Soda water
Ice

Directions:
Directions:
Add blackberries, mint leaves, and sugar to a cocktail shaker. Muddle until the berries have broken down and the mint is fragrant. Add bourbon and fresh squeezed lemon juice to the shaker and shake until combined. Strain into a rocks glass. (Double straining will help prevent large mint leaves from getting through, unless you want green leaves in your teeth then who am I to judge). Add ice and top with soda water. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
