1/2 cup cold water
4 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup vinegar plus 2 Tbsp vinegar
2 Tbsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
4 Tbsp mustard
4 Tbsp margarine, cut into small pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the water, cornstarch, vinegar, salt, sugar, egg, and mustard in a blender.
Process on high for 2 minutes, until smooth.
Place in the top of a double boiler over simmering water.
Stir in the margarine and cook for 12 - 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Return to blender and process for 1 minute at high speed.
Refrigerate in an airtight container for at least 24 hours.
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
