Dough
1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in ¼ c. warm water with 1 tsp. sugar
6 c. or more flour
1½ lb. margarine (room temperature)
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 pt. sour cream

Filling
3 c. walnuts, ground
½ c. sugar
1 egg white, beaten slightly
1 tsp. vanilla
¼ c. melted margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Mix all dough ingredients by hand on dough board. Knead lightly. Divide dough into 4 parts. Roll each part out very thin, one part at a time. Cut dough into 2" squares.

For filling, stir walnuts and sugar together in a bowl. Pour egg, vanilla and melted margarine into walnut mixture and stir.

Place about 1 t. walnut filling in the center of each square. Roll each filled square into crescent shape. Roll each crescent in granulated sugar. Bake for 10-15 minutes on greased cookie sheet until light brown.
