2 cups sifted flour
1 Tbsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
¾ cup butter
1 cup sugar
½ cup molasses
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix and sift first 5 ingredients together.
Beat butter until creamy. Gradually add 1 cup sugar while still beating. Beat in eggs and molasses.
Sift about ¼ of the flour mixture over molasses mixture. Stir to blend well. Repeat until flour is mixed in. Chill dough until it is no longer sticky.
Form into balls. Roll in sugar and space 2" apart on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350ºF for 10-12 minutes depending on your oven.
