Ingredients:  
2 pkgs Yeast, softened in water for 10 minutes
1/2 C warm water
2 eggs
1/4 C sugar
1/4 C onion, minced
4 tsp dill seed
1 pt cottage cheese, creamed and heated to lukewarm
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 T butter, melted
5-5 1/2 C flour, sifted

In warm large bowl, mix eggs, cheese, yeast, salt, soda, onion, dill seed and butter. Beat well. Add one cup of flour at a time, mixing well after each addition. Cover and let rise in a warm place for one hour, or until doubled. Punch down and knead on floured board for 10 minutes, or until shiny. form into two round loaves. Place in a 2 lb coffee cans that have been well oiled. Cover and let raise 1 hour or until doubled. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 50 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with melted butter and sprinkle generously with salt. Remove from cans approximately 10 minutes after removing from oven.

Can also use regular loaf pans. This bread is great for tuna sandwiches.
