Directions:
Slice onions and cook in 1/4 stick of butter until soft and light brown. Remove and set aside.

Slice cube steak in strips against the grain. Season with seasoned salt. Heat 2 tbs of butter over high heat until melted and beginning to brown. Add meat in a single layer. Cook one side until brown. Flip. Cook the other side. This should be about a minute per side.

Add 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce, 5-6 shakes hot sauce, and 2 tbs butter. Add cooked onions. Stir to combine.

Butter the halved French rolls and brown in the skillet. To assemble, lay bottom half of French roll on the plate. Place meat mixture on top. Add onions and juice from the pan. Top with the other half of the roll.

This is a staple recipe at my house. Not only is it a Pioneer Woman (Ree Drummond) original cookbook recipe, but it is super easy and tasty!
