4 bacon slices
1/2 cup chopped onion
1⅔ cup chicken broth
1 tsp. celery salt
1 package (3-4 oz.) instant mashed potatoes
2 cups cream-style corn
1⅔ cups (large can) evaporated milk
2 thinly sliced frankfurters

Cut bacon into small pieces and brown in a 2 quart sauce pan. Add onion. Cook over low heat until soft and golden. Add chicken broth and celery salt. Bring to boil. Remove from heat, stir in potatoes. Add corn, milk, and franks. Blend well; heat just to boiling. Serve at once in heated mugs or bowls.

This is actually Lori's recipe. I remember having it as a teenager at home and I made it often as a poor student and newlywed. Now every once in a while I pull out this recipe and make it for nostalgia sake. It is a good soup.
