2 squares of chocolate- cut up
1/2 c boiling water
1 c sifted four
1 c sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 c shortening
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 c buttermilk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
Directions:
Directions:
Put cut up chocolate in hat water and let melt. Sift dry ingredients and add to chocolate. beat until mixed. Add shortening, beat 1 minute. Add milk vanilla and egg, beat. Bake at 350 35 to 40 minutes.
