2 c. sugar
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick oats
Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan, combine sugar, cocoa, milk, and butter. Mix and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Take off the heat and add peanut butter, vanilla, and oatmeal. Spoon onto waxed paper using about 1.5- tsp. of cookie. Allow to harden.

This is a recipe I used to make in my grandma's kitchen. I don't remember her making a lot of sweets, but she made the best no-bake cookies, and this is the recipe she used. One of my favorite memories was "cooking" with my grandma. Before she taught me this recipe, she used to let me "cook" and just add random ingredients into a pan. We never ate it, but I definitely hold that memory close to my heart now that she is gone.
