1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1.5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or 1 c. mini chocolate chips
1 c. bananas, mashed

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350º (325º for glass pan). Grease bottom of 9x13" loaf pan.

2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla; mix well. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; stir into the butter mixture until smooth. Mix in mashed bananas. Finally, fold in the sour cream and walnuts or chocolate chips. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.

3. Bake at 350º for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool loaf in pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
