2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 beaten egg
2 T. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon or almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Sift the first 4 ingredients together. Cream butter and sugar; blend in egg, milk and flavorings. Blend in dry ingredients. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours. Roll out 1/8 inch thick on a lightly-floured board. Cut into desired shapes with floured cookie cutters. Bake on unqreased cookie sheet at 350° for 12 minutes.
