½ C Mushroom Slices (chopped)
¾ C Celery (chopped)
¾ C Green Pepper (chopped)
¼ C Margarine
⅓ C Flour
2 Cans Chicken Broth (13oz each)
2 C Cooked Wild Rice
1½ C Cooked Chicken (or turkey)
½ C 2% Milk
4oz Cream Cheese with Chives and Onions (softened)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook and stir mushrooms, celery, and peppers in margarine. Mix flour with cold broth (or cold water and add to broth). Gradually add veggies, cook stirring constantly until thickens. Remove from heat. Stir in milk, rice, chicken, and cream cheese. Stir until blended and heated thoroughly.

Does NOT freeze well.

Wild Rice (makes 4C cooked):
1C Wild Rice
2C Chicken Broth or Water
¼ tsp Salt

Combine rice, broth, and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer covered 40-50mins (mine is usually done at 20 min! Watch cause it will burn!).
