1 T BUTTER
1 t olive oil
1 pound ground beef
⅓ green bell pepper, minced
yellow onion, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 T tomato paste
⅔ cup of ketchup
⅓ cup of water
1 T brown sugar
1 t yellow mustard
¾ t chili powder
½ t Worcestershire sauce
½ t kosher salt
¼ t red pepper flakes
¼ t black pepper
dash of hot sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter and oil, add ground beef, cook until crumbly and brown. Drain beef in a colander and allow the grease to drip out. In the skillet add the bell pepper and onion, saute until soft. Add garlic and saute. Return beef to skillet and stir. Add the tomato paste, water, mustard, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed. Simmer for 15 minutes or until thick. Ready to serve on buns.
