1½ cups sugar
¼ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
¾ tsp. salt
½ tsp. cloves
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
1⅔ cups all purpose flour
½ cup canola oil
½ cup water
1 cup plain canned pumpkin (not pie mix)
2 eggs
½ cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 350º. Grease or spray a loaf pan with non-stick spray.

Beat all ingredients together. Pour batter into a prepared loaf pan.

Bake for 60 minutes or until it is cooked through.

No Thanksgiving or Christmas went by without Pumpkin Bread in our home growing up.

A cup of chocolate chips mixed in the batter is a fun addition for something different.
