1½ cups flour
¾ tsp. baking powder
¾ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. butter, softened
2 large eggs
⅔ cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1¼ almond extract
⅔ cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
2 Tbsp. milk or buttermilk
1½ cups cranberries

Topping
3 Tbsp. butter, softened
⅓ cup sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
⅛ tsp. almond extract
½ cup sliced almonds

Directions:

To make Cake: Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 9"x9" pan

Combine flour, baking powder and soda, and salt.

With a mixer, bear butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and the extracts. Beat well.

Add half the flour mixture. Beat until just mixed.

Add the yogurt/sour cream and the milk. Beat until combined.

Add the remaining flour mixture. Mix. Fold in the cranberries. Pour into the pan.

To make the Topping: Combine the butter, sugar, flour, and extract (cut with knives or mash with a fork). Mix in the almonds. Sprinkle on top of the batter.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Note: It make take a little longer to bake if you use an 8"x8" pan or are using frozen cranberries.
