4 strips bacon, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans, drained
1 (1 lb.) can lima beans, drained
1 (1 lb.) can baked beans, not in tomato sauce
¼ lb. American cheese, cubed
½ cup dark brown sugar
⅓ cup catsup
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon and onion in a large skillet.

Add remaining ingredients, except Parmesan cheese.

Pour into a casserole and bake 350° for about 30-45 minutes.

Top with Parmesan cheese about 5 minutes. before removing from oven.

Keeps well and is even better reheated. 1 lb. of sausage may be added. Feel free to substitute different kinds of beans - navy, northern, cannellini...
