Leftover roast beef or chicken
Leftover gravy or a couple cans of gravy
3 or 4 diced potatoes
3 or 4 sliced carrots
mushroom slices
frozen pearl onions (optional)
frozen peas
puff pastry or 2 crust pie dough

Cook the potatoes and carrots in some water until just tender. Drain. Add the gravy, cubed meat and remaining ingredients you might like. Heat through

If using pie dough roll out bottom crust in 9 or 10 inch pie plate. Pour everything into dish and cover with top crust. Slit for air. Bake

You can also just put everything into a nice casserole dish. Brush the dish edges with beaten egg and cover with thawed puff pastry that has been rolled out to fit the dish. Brush pasty with remaining egg wash, slit top and bake

400º about 40 minutes
