3 sweet peppers chopped fine
1 medium onion
3 cloves garlic
⅓ cup olive oil or butter
1 lb. shrimp
½ loaf of stale french bread soaked in cold water & squeezed thoroughly
salt & pepper to taste
dash of cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Heat shortening, add onions and sauté slightly-then add chopped peppers-add garlic last-Then add shrimp. When this is cooked add bread that has been squeezed thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste and let it brown. Add a dash of cayenne pepper. When mixture is browned and well seasoned put in a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and a bit of Italian cheese. Bake at 350º about 30 minutes. This can be made ahead and frozen. Bake on day you intend to serve it.
