6 Tbsp butter
6 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp golden syrup or treacle
1 Tbsp molasses or black treacle
1 cup double cream
splash of vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Place butter, sugars and syrup in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Over low heat, dissolve the sugars then simmer for about 5 minutes remove from heat and gradually stir in cream and vanilla. Return to heat and stir for 2-3 minutes until the sauce is smooth and thick. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator in a jar.
