3 squares bakers unsweetened chocolate cut in pieces
2 1/2 c cold milk
1 1/3 c sugar
1/4 c cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
3 T butter
3 egg yolks slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Add chocolate to milk and heat in double boiler. When chocolate is melted beat with rotary beater until blended.Sift sugar salt and cornstarch together and add a small amount of the milk chocolate mixture stirring until smooth. Return to double boiler, add butter and stir constantly until thickened. Cook 10 more minutes stirring occasionally. Pour a small amount over egg yolks stirring vigorously. Return to double boiler and cook until thickened. Remove from fire and add vanilla. Cool, pour into pie shell (see GRAHAM CRACKER PIE CRUST) and bake in moderate oven (325) 20 minutes.
