Cookie Base:
1/2 cup sugar
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Crumb Topping:
4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 sticks plus 3 tablespoons butter

Filling:
I jar Seedless Raspberry jam
Confectioners sugar for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Add egg, butter, milk and vanilla. Spread on a greased pan (about 18 x 12 x 1 inch). Warm or soften jam. Spread evenly on top of cookie base

For filling, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt with crumb mixture and melted margarine. Mix to form crumbs and sprinkle evenly over cookie base

Bake in 350 oven for 25 - 35 minutes (bake at 335 for 30 min); cool, cut and top with confectioners sugar. Makes about 50 bars.
