Southwest Quiche Recipe

½ recipe All-Butter Pie Crust, (see recipe)
7 large eggs, room temperature
½ teaspoon fine Sea salt
½ teaspoon white pepper
¾ teaspoon sliced pickled jalapeños and juice
1¼ cups heavy cream
1¼ cups whole milk
2 cups shredded Monterrey Jack cheese, divided
1 cup chopped green onions
1 cup diced Canadian bacon
1 cup canned green chiles, sliced and drained

Directions:
Directions:
1). Prepare the pie crust according to the directions in a 10-inch pie plate and set aside. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2). Add the eggs, salt, white pepper, jalapeños and juice to a blender to combine. Add the cream and whole milk to the egg mixture, pulsing a few times to blend.

3). Place the pie shell on a baking sheet. Place half of the Monterey Jack cheese in the bottom of the pie shell. Layer with the green onions, Canadian bacon, and the green chiles, finishing with the other half of the cheese. Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients.

4). Bake for about 1 hour and 30 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the quiche to cool for 15 minutes for easier slicing.
