Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 c butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp almond extract
3/4 c sugar
2-1/4 c flour
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar, add egg, add almond extract, add dry ingredients. Bake on and ungreased cookie sheet about 10 minutes 400º.

I remember Mom had a thing like a "grease gun" that she would fill with the batter and then squirt it out on the sheet. It had a bunch of nozzles that would give different shapes of cookies. We (the kids) used to put colored sugar on top of the cookies before they went in the oven.
