2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup butter or oleo (softened)
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup (firmly packed) brown sugar
1 pkg. instant pudding (vanilla)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup nuts (optional)
1 pkg. (12 oz.) chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour with baking soda, combine butter, sugars, pudding mix and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs, gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. (batter will be stiff) Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheet, about 2 inches apart. Bake 375º for 8 to10 minutes. Makes about 7 doz. cookies
