2 lbs fresh sugar snap peas or green beans - cut in 1/3
2 slices bacon
1/4 cup scallions
3 TBL sliced almonds
2 TBL brown sugar
1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the bean/peas for 2 minutes only. Cool down in ice water.

Cook bacon crisp. Cool and Crumble

Add onion to bacon drippings sauté for 1 min. Add almonds, sauté for 1 min. Remove from heat and cool.

Dissolve the brown sugar in the vinegar. Add bacon, onions & almonds.

Pour dressing over beans/peas right before serving. If you do it too early, they will wilt.
