1 cup butter, softened
½ cup icing sugar
¼ cup cornstarch
1½ cups flour

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 375º

2. Whip butter with an electric mixer until fluffy

3. Stir in the icing sugar, cornstarch and flour

4. Beat on low for 1 minute then on high for 3-4 minutes

5. Drop cookies by spoonful 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet

6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes
**Watch that the edges don't brown too much

7. Cool on wire racks
