1 lb. Brown sugar
1 lb. Confectioners sugar
1 lb. Butter (Not margarine)
1 quart Good Quality Vanilla ice cream
Hot water
Rum
Nutmeg (for garnish)

Directions:
Directions:
Just remember 3 pounds and a quart! Soften butter and mix with the sugars. Soften ice cream and add to sugars and butter mixture. The batter can be refrigerated for immediate use or frozen. Put 2 Tbsp in a mug and add hot water and rum. Garnish with nutmeg.

This is a recipe my mother-in-law used to prepare for New Years Day as we watched the Rose Bowl parade. I remember sitting in the stands with a blanket and a warm drink in my hands as we watched the floats go by. This recipe makes enough for a group of your friends/family to enjoy any event!!!
