Cook tapioca about ½ c in 2 c boiling water till clear (This is not minute tapioca + not large bead type but a medium type). While this is cooking, cut about 4 or 5 apples in casserole or bake pan. Sprinkle 1 c brown sugar over apples and dot with 4 tbsp margarine. Add tapioca mixture and bake in the oven till apples are tender. Served with cream or dream whip.
