1 qt vinegar
1 pint water
2 ¾ cup sugar
½ cup pickling salt

In jars:
1-2 cloves garlic
1 slice onion
1 head dill

Directions:
Fill jars with sliced cucumbers (lengthwise-size). Looks nice if you can find thin long pickles that are about the length of the jar.

Pour hot liquid in jars once pickles are packed Process in water bath for 10 min.

We had these somewhere and I remember them being really good.
