6-8 strips bacon 2tbsp butter 1 med sweet onion chopped,1 med red onion chopped, 1tbsp wine vinegar, 2 tbsp Karo dark corn syrup. 1 cup sour cream. 1 pkg softened cream cheese, 2 cups Monterrey jack cheese, 1/4 cup diced green onion

Cook bacon..to crispy. remove and cool. Leave 2 tbsp bacon grease in the skillet. Add butter both onions and cook until soft. Stir in 1/2 corn syrup and cook 10-15 min. until caramelized. Add remaining corn syrup, vinegar and bacon crumbled, stir well, and remove from heat. Stir in all the cheese products and mix well, save 1/2 cup Monterrey jack cheese for topping.. Pour all into 1 quart greased bake dish, Top with remaining cheese. Bake 15-20 min at 350 degrees, remove sprinkle green onion on top
