Cornbread

1-1/4 all-purpose white flour or whole wheat pastry flour
3/4 cup corn flour (not cornmeal)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup white sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/4 cups whole milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 egg, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan. Put the flours, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large bowl, and whisk to mix well. Blend together the milk, butter and egg. Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients and combine quickly but thoroughly. Do not over mix. Pour into prepared pan and bake 30 minutes, until springs back when lightly pressed with a finger and sides start to pull away from the pan. Serve with Honey Butter.

1/3 cup honey
