1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
1 t. almond extract
2 t. baking powder
3 c. flour
GLAZE:
2 c. powdered sugar
3 t. milk
3 t. light corn syrup
1 t. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add egg, vanilla and almond. Mix baking powder and flour, add one cup at a time. The dough will be stiff; blend last flour in by hand. If dough becomes too stiff, add water a teaspoon at a time. DO NOT CHILL DOUGH. Roll out to ⅛” thick on floured surface. Dip cookie cutters in flour before each use. Bake cookies on ungreased cookie sheets for 6-7 minutes at 400º. Mix glaze. Adjust thickness. Let dry 6-8 hours before stacking or bagging.
