3 cans black beans
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
minced garlic
bay leaf
pinch crushed oregano
1 t. vinegar
1 t. sugar
ham pieces or cooked bacon for flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chopped pepper, onion, and garlic in olive oil. Add vegetables to 3 cans of beans in a soup pot. Add bay leaf, oregano, vinegar, sugar, and ham or bacon. Cook until warmed through and thickened. (stir as needed to keep it from sticking on bottom)
