3 avocados, peeled, pitted, and mashed
1 lime, juiced
1 tsp. salt
½ cup onions, chopped
[Optional] 3 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
2 Roma (plum) tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp. garlic, minced
[Optional] 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper or 1 jalapeño, chopped, if you like it spicy

Prepare and chop ingredients. [Tip: You can make the guacamole as smooth or chunky as you want, based on how finely you chop the ingredients. For chunkier, dice the vegetables, rather than chopping.]
In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice, and salt. Mix in the onions, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic. [Optional] Stir in cayenne pepper (or jalapeño).
Refrigerate for 1 hour for best flavor.
