This covers 1 batch of popcorn in a hot air popper
1 stick butter
1 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 c corn syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Use a large glass bowl (large enough to add batch of popcorn to). In microwave melt butter and mix in brown sugar. Stir several times untill all melted/dissolved. Then microwave until it "boils" for about 1 1/2 miutes. Longer boil will make a harder coating. Take bowl from microwave and add baking soda and vanilla and stir. It will "foam" up. When blended well add popcorn to the bowl and sitr to coat well. Lay it out on wax paper in a single layer to cool. Then eat!
