Ingredients:
1/2 pound bacon, cut into small pieces
2 dozen brussel sprouts trimmed and halved (or quartered if large)
salt and pepper
balsamic glaze

Directions:
Directions:
I like to throw everything onto a pan with some olive oil, coarse salt and pepper, and roast in the oven at 350-375º. It can take 20-30 minutes - just keep your eye on them, shaking the pan every 5 minutes or so. When they are done, throw them in a serving bowl and drizzle with a balsamic glaze (or make your own).
Alternatively, you can cook them in a pan - add bacon first, take the bacon out and leave the grease - adding the brussels and sauteing for 5 minutes. Then add the bacon back and cook a few more minutes until they are as brown and tender as you like. There are so many variations to these. I like to add maple syrup sometimes, or a little honey, or you can add some spices, they are excellent with a fresh lemon aoili as well - served room temp.
