2 c all purpose flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/3 c butter flavored shortening
1 c buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450º. Mix dry ingredients in bowl until well mixed. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Stir buttermilk into mixture until all crumbs are moistened. DO NOT OVERWORK DOUGH. Pat together with hands into a circle about 1" thick. Cut with round cutter and place close together in baking pan. Bake until golden brown. Brush with melted butter.
